I carried out work for my Masters degree at the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. There I worked on a structural and mechanistic analysis of of glutamate carboxypeptidase II. In 2006 I joined the Wellcome Trust PhD Programme at the University of Dundee and in 2007 I joined Ron Hay’s lab where I am investigating the mechanistic basis for ubiquitylation of SUMO modified proteins by Rnf4.
