    Professor Sue Black has been elected to the University Court on behalf of Academic Council to serve for the remainder of the term of office of Dr Lesley McLellan. The University Court is the governing body of the University with particular responsibility for the employment of staff and the management and administration of property and finance. Professor Black is one of only two members elected by Academic Council and she will serve till the end of July 2013. Always the popular choice Prof. Black was elected by a staggering 383 votes.
