Our cross-school seminar programme with colleagues in Philosophy will continue this academic year and be expanded into other areas and Schools.

 

Many of us are becoming increasingly concerned about climate change and the sustainability of our way of life. This is the first of a series of talks exploring actions to mitigate global warming and adapt to our changing world. Talks will be 35 min with 25 min for Q and A.

 

Petra is a Lecturer in Law at Dundee University and has held academic positions at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law and the Max Planck Foundation for International Peace and the Rule of Law in Heidelberg and at the Universities of Göttingen and Munich. She has worked in the German Foreign Office, Berlin and for the Permanent Representative of Germany to the United Nations, New York. Petra was called to the German Bar in 2014. She is Visiting Lecturer at the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), Beijing and an expert reviewer for the UN’s IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change). (https://www.dundee.ac.uk/law/staff/profile/petra-minnerop.php
