Applicants who are not offered a James Black Prize Studentship may be considered for a Scholarship funded by a Society or other funding body instead.
The School of Life Sciences has a number of James Black Prize Studentships available during the summer of 2019. The studentships will enable undergraduate students with an excellent track record in a scientific discipline, who wish to pursue a future career in scientific research, an opportunity to gain valuable experience of working in a world-class research laboratory within the School of Life Sciences. The Studentships available provide a student stipend of £225 per week for 10 weeks.
At the School of Life Sciences we are committed to inspiring the next generation of researchers and leaders in the life sciences.
We therefore provide a number of Summer Research Opportunities for Undergraduates, giving students the invaluable experience of working in real research laboratories during the summer vacation months. The schemes are open to Dundee University students and those from elsewhere, including international students.
Resources and opportunities for current undergraduate students at the School of Life Sciences are listed below. Additional services can be accessed by clicking here.
