Tissue Culture Technician

Applications are invited for a full-time Technician within our Tissue Culture facilities. The post is available immediately and is funded for up to 3 years.


Duties will include growing and routine testing of cells, ordering of consumables, helping to maintain cleanliness and generally ensuring the smooth running of the facilities. Candidates should be qualified to ONC level or equivalent. Knowledge of tissue culture procedures and aseptic techniques would be an advantage.

Technician

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated technician to express and purify proteins using E coli, baculovirus and Pichia systems. The successful candidate will work with the Operational Manager, Protein Production - BCDD, scheduling work to ensure that high quality protein is delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.

In vitro DMPK Technician

Summary of Job Purpose and Principal Duties
The successful applicant will work as part of a team seeking to tackle some of the world’s most neglected diseases. The role will include planning, coordinating, executing and reporting of in vitro pharmacokinetic studies. The post is available from 1st November and is available for up to 12 months.
