We are looking for two reliable administrators to support the Biological Sciences Degree Programme (Levels 3-5) and the Core Curriculum (Levels 1-2).   Joining our team you will undertake a wide variety of general and administrative tasks.

Key tasks include
  • Performing data entry, including updating student records and databases
  • Organising meetings, scheduling appointments
  • Managing deadlines and document submissions
  • Updating annual publications
  • Organising events and hospitality
  • Primary contact for academic staff and students; using generic mailbox
  • Procedures are in place for tasks and training will be given on the job.
Essential Requirements
  • You will need to have excellent written, verbal and secretarial skills and the ability to analyse information to solve general queries. Accuracy and attention to detail are extremely important.
  • Excellent time management, good planning and organising skills are key for this role and you should be used to working under pressure to meet deadlines, work on your own initiative and organise your own workload.
  • You will need good keyboard skills and a sound knowledge and experience of IT including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel and Word)
  • As you’ll be managing a variety of relationships with different stakeholders, it’s important you have good communication skills and approach problems with patience and sensitivity.
  • You should also be enthusiastic and versatile individual with a strong customer service focus and flexibility as a team member.

These are permanent full-time positions (36.25 hrs per week).
