David Murray has joined the Division of Cell and Developmental Biology. David comes from Marino Zerial’s laboratory at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Germany, where he was a postdoctoral researcher.
David’s research focuses on trying to understand how cells develop the distinct structures that enable their specialization. Human health is critically dependent on the proper formation and maintenance of subcellular structures. Impacts that the work of David’s lab will be undertaking could provide new knowledge in relation to cancer and transitional states of tissue development.
