The new Centre for Translational and Interdisciplinary Research to open to the public on National Doors Open Day | Saturday 13 September 2014

The College of Life Sciences is delighted to open its doors to the newly built Centre for Translational and Interdisciplinary Research.

Tours of the whole facility will be run at 11:00 and 12:00. Booking is not essential but spaces are limited so please arrive early. Owing to health and safety restrictions children under the age of 12 cannot participate in tours of the laboratory areas.

Be among the first to visit one of newest buildings in Dundee, which houses the expanded internationally acclaimed Drug Discovery Unit and discover the cutting-edge research that has made Dundee one of the largest and most productive life sciences research hubs in Europe.

The new CTIR building has been designed with accessibility and communication in mind. It contains two networking areas, besides the meeting rooms and designated breakout rooms to encourage unplanned interactions between groups, open-plan meeting areas and forums accommodating small or large groups of people as the interactions develop.
