H. marismortui Kt-38 is a simple k-turn of N1 class. It has a four-nucleotide loop. The O2' of L4 donates a hydrogen bond to the proS non-bridging O of the L1/L2 phosphate, thus taking the role of L3 in the standard k-turn.
