Nicole joined the AC-BI team in January 2017 as Chemical Biologist / Discovery Proteomics scientist.

Nicole studied Chemistry at Imperial College London, achieving her MSci in 2013. During this time, she spent a year working as a Medicinal Chemistry intern at Roche in Basel, Switzerland. Her MSci research project concerned the synthesis and in vitro testing of anti-malarial drug candidates in the lab of Prof. Robin Leatherbarrow. She completed her PhD in the lab of Dr. Matthew Fuchter, also at Imperial, in January 2017. Her project involved the study of lysine methyltransferases using isotopically labelled chemical probes, which allowed her to gain skills in the fields of chemical biology and mass spectrometry.

In her spare time, Nicole likes hiking, travelling, learning languages, watching films and playing video games.
