
Diane is originally from Gateshead, near Newcastle upon Tyne but has spent most of her life moving around the UK and Europe, firstly as a military child and then as a military wife. She has worked at the School of Life Sciences for the past 20 years, in various Divisions. Her main role is supporting Professor Alessio Ciulli in his role as Director of the new Centre for Targeted Protein Degradation. Over her time in the School of Life Sciences, she has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge but particularly enjoys organising large scale events and visits. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and 5 grandchildren, eating out, visiting the theatre and various crafting hobbies such as knitting, sewing and papercrafts.
