We are seeking an experienced Protein Biologist to work within the Division of Biological Chemistry and Drug Discovery (BCDD) for a temporary 6 month post.

Your priorities will include:

  • Work in interdisciplinary teams and actively contribute to drug discovery projects at all stages
  • Production of high quality, biologically active proteins to support assay development, compound screening and crystallography to aid drug discovery in the parasitic diseases and novel targets areas

Candidate Requirements:

  • A degree in a life science
  • A track record of practical expertise in protein production and purification is essential.
  • Experience of one of more of molecular biology, biochemistry, crystallography, enzyme assay methods or drug discovery would be an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skill
