Grade 4 (£18,777 to £21,585) or Grade 5 (£21,585 to £24,983) depending on experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic research technician to join a team involved in running and optimizing PCR for genotyping from small tissue samples and also assisting with various in vivo studies. The responsibilities also include recording routine study data using electronic system and coordinating in vivo experiments. As you are required to be involved in various in vivo studies, experience in with in vivo models is essential. Possession or willingness to possess a Home Office personal license is essential.


The nature of the work will require you to work as part of a team and be able to prioritise tasks effectively.


This is a full time fixed-term post based at Medical Research Council Protein Phosphorylation and Ubiquitylation Unit, School of Life Sciences, University of Dundee. This post is for two year in the first instance with the possibility of further extension.
