Life Sciences hosted over 50 students this Summer. This week, no less than 40 students, from Dundee, the rest of Scotland and the UK, but also from abroad as far afield as Singapore, presented their results in this years’ summer students symposium. There were two amazing afternoons with excellent and very well-structured talks.

The University of Dundee has once again ranked among the best universities in the United Kingdom for overall student satisfaction, achieving a top 10 place in the 2018 National Student Survey (NSS).
The University recorded overall satisfaction of 88%, well above the sector average of 83% and was ranked second in Scotland.
The National Student Survey is a census of nearly half a million students undertaken independently by Ipsos MORI and evaluates how satisfied students are with the quality of their higher education experience.
The 2019 edition of the Guardian University Guide has been published today. The University is now ranked 29th in the UK (and again 4th in Scotland).
Professor John Peters, Professor of Pharmacology has been awarded the Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Contributions to Teaching at the University of Dundee.
Last Friday, the Dundee University Student Association (DUSA) celebrated the lecturers who help make our university one of the best in the world, at their annual Student Led Teaching Awards (SLTA).
Kim Dale from the School was named Best Postgraduate Supervisor after being shortlisted for the second year in a row. “I am so touched to have been nominated by two of my PhD students, Lucas Morales Moya and Francesca Carrieri, as they both know it is one of the parts I love most about my job,” said Kim.
The University of Dundee and the National University of Singapore (NUS) have established a new partnership which will see students share their study time between Scotland and Singapore and earn a degree from both institutions.
