Printer installs are typically managed by the LSC Desktops team

  • Find the white label 'Equipment No.' on the printer.
  • or for older printers, read the printer name from the yellow label
    • e.g. if your label is: FIERY1632, 08:00:37:14:C5:28
    • or if your label is: fiery1632.lifesci.dundee.ac.uk (08:00:37:14:C5:28)
    • ⇒ the printer name is 'fiery1632.lifesci.dundee.ac.uk'

Log a support request with us, including the printer information and the 'Equipment No.' from your mac.

  • the requested printer will be added to your list of printers within 1 working day.
