We have completed the replacement of the battery modules in the UPS units that support the network switches throughout WTB and MSI.

These are designed to protect network service during a power failure but the battery modules had all degraded to the point where they would not support the load required. The new batteries should maintain network and telephony functions for around 45 minutes.

We intend to test all the UPS to verify that they can support the network switches during next Tuesdays at risk window.
