OSX - Configuring Outlook 2011

Open Outlook 2011 for Mac

It will either be in your Dock, or in Applications > Microsoft Office 2011 > Microsoft Outlook

Access Outlook Preferences

Choose Outlook > Preferences

Access Mail Accounts

Click on Accounts

Add a new Exchange Account

Click on Exchange Account

Fill in your Account Details

Paying special attention to ensure your user is in the form.

username@dundee.ac.uk

Add Account

After clicking Add Account, you may get some messages like the above.  Check the box "Always use my response for this server" and then click Allow.

Finished

Return to your mailbox

You should then have mail in your mailbox.

Note, this may take a long time to sync your mail. It is best done in the College while connected to the network.
