Purchase your Mac Mini from Wellcome Trust Stores
- Step 1 - Stores will deliver your boxed Mac Mini - you should also have ordered a TFT monitor and a network cable
- Step 2 - Plug the network cable into a working socket and the other end into the Mini's Gigabit Ethernet port
- Step 3 - Plug the HDMI to DVI adapter into the Mini DVI port, attach to the monitor's DVI cable
- Step 4 - Plug the Power Cord into the Built-in Power Supply port and the mains cord into the other end
- Step 5 - Plug the keyboard into either the USB 2.0 ports - or relayed through the monitor's usb hub (on supported models)
- Step 6 - Press the Power button to start up the mac.
The Mini comes pre-configured with the College desktop setup, log in with your Life Sciences Directory account.
The white label 'Equipment No' is the asset number for the Mac Mini. Please ask your Lab Manager to update the College Assets Database with the location and user details, for both the Mac Mini and the TFT monitor.
