Up to fifteen prestigious PhD studentships are available within the following Divisions of the College of Life Sciences:

• The Division of Biological Chemistry and Drug Discovery
• The Division of Cell Signalling and Immunology
• The Division of Cell and Developmental Biology
• The Wellcome Trust Centre for Gene Regulation and Expression
• The Division of Molecular Microbiology
• Nucleic Acid Structure Research Group
• The Division of Plant Sciences
• The MRC Protein Phosphorylation Unit
• The SCottish Institute for CeLL Signalling

Each Division runs their own programme in which supervisors offer 3, 3.5 or 4-year PhD projects that may also involve a bespoke training programme involving rotation projects in two or more laboratories.  These Studentships are available to both UK and overseas applicants and will include a generous stipend of £16,000 per annum and fees.
