Heads of University
Biological Sciences, open to heads of departments or their
nominees, is a society which represents over 80 Biological Sciences
departments in the UK, and acts as a forum for discussing national
issues on the provision of research and teaching in the Biological
Sciences. As a member of the Society of Biology, HUBS contributes
to national debates on priorities in the biosciences, informed by
the upwards of 3,000 academic specialists in the UK's academic departments.

HUBS Spring Meeting 2010: " The Future of Bioscience Teaching: Doing More With Less
This year's HUBS meeting brings together key decision makers and influencers in the sector to discuss the challenges facing the HE sector in this spending review period. Best practice and innovative teaching in the provision of bioscience teaching will also be highlighted.
