Since the COVID pandemic we have all seen the impact science has had on the world and I knew I wanted to remain on the scientific edge of technology. To be offered the opportunity was really amazing, Ignacio my PhD supervisor encouraged me to take it too and I am so excited to get started! Dundee has really shaped me and my scientific career, the scientific community in Dundee is incredibly inspiring!” Alison explained.

Over the next two years Alison will work as a contracted scientific researcher within various projects on new methods and processes for the development of vaccines within Janssen. In addition, she will contribute to various projects outside of ‘typical’ research.
