A project at the European Lead Factory, led by scientists at the School, won the Multiparty Collaboration Award at this year’s Scottish Knowledge Exchange Awards.
Dr Phil Jones, Director of the European Screening Centre at the European Lead Factory, said, “We are incredibly proud of our recognition in this award. The European Lead Factory is an entirely new kind of partnership, designed to promote innovation by in-depth collaboration, honest brokerage and enhanced communication.
“It is vital that the European Lead Factory builds on this success and continues to make these contributions pushing current boundaries in the search for new medicines.”
The Scottish Knowledge Exchange Awards recognise the sharing of expertise and ideas between businesses and Universities, ran by Interface, the only organisation in the UK that works on behalf of all Universities and research institutions in Scotland to create these partnerships.
