    Professor Mike Stark of the Wellcome Trust Centre for Gene Regulation and Expression has been elected a Fellow of the Society of Biology. The Society of Biology aims to provide a single unified voice for biology by advising Government and influencing policy, advancing education and professional development and engaging and encouraging public interest in the life sciences. It has 80,000 members worldwide.
