We continually strive to translate our research into practical outputs that improve quality of life and the environment. The College's global reputation for research excellence has enabled us to forge important strategic partnerships and attract inward investment from industrial collaborators, spin-out companies and in-house service units. This has had significant local impacts, stimulating the emergence of a regional biotechnology cluster which makes a major contribution to the Tayside economy and currently accounts for 16% of local jobs.
