Roche Continents

I spent one week in Salzburg exploring the common ground between the arts and the sciences. Salzburg is famous for being the home of Hayden and Mozart as well as the Salzburg festival, the biggest festival devoted to classical and contemporary music in the world. In the morning we attended workshops that were a huge amount of fun and then in the early evening we listen to people involved in the production of the concerts before attending them, a tremendous privilege.

In an incredibly intense week we met students both artists and scientists from around Europe and listened to musical performances by the best orchestras in the world, and we able to talk about our experiences together. I've learnt that there is a lot in common between the arts and sciences and I've never had so much fun at a workshop before!
