I am originally from Porto, in the north of Portugal. I obtained my degree in Biology, in 2011, from the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Porto. In 2014, I obtained a Masters degree in Applied Biochemistry-specialisation in Biomedicine from the School of Sciences at the University of Minho, Braga. For my undergraduate and masters degrees, my research project was conducted in the Parasite diseases group of IBMC, where I worked in Leishmania infantum.
In August 2015, I joined the Rocha lab as a research assistant.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my gerbils, watching movies and tv shows.
