Post-doctoral and PhD positions available, funded by CRUK and MRC

If you are highly motivated, have a strong academic background and are interested in our research after reading our papers, then you are encouraged to apply for a post-doctoral position in the lab.  You should have first author publications in internationally recognised journals (or an interesting story close to publication if you are just finishing your PhD).  You don't necessarily need to have worked previously in a similar research area, or with a similar system, but you should have a strong interest in our work, and a good experimental training.  Please contact Karim (kpmlabib@dundee.ac.uk), sending a CV and cover letter, together with contact details for three referees.

If you like what we do and have a strong academic background, then the best way to find out more is to read our papers.  If you’re interested in the possibility of a PhD in our group, or in doing a rotation project with us as part of one of Dundee’s PhD programmes, then you should send your CV to Karim, together with a cover letter to explain your interest.

Karim's lab is located within the MRC PPU, which is part of the School of Life Sciences in the University of Dundee.
