Stark Group student wins competition to name the new Singer microscope

Rachael Di Santo, a student in the Stark Group, has won the Singer Instruments competition to name their new tetrad dissection microscope. Not only has the microscope been endowed with Rachel’s suggested name, the Stark Group also received a free microscope worth £6,000. Rachael was filmed in the Stark laboratory receiving the news of her win and the new microscope.

She said, ‘It was a complete surprise! I’m so pleased my entry won. The new microscope looks amazing and I’m looking forward to using it as soon as possible.’
