Data Analysis Group
The Data Analysis Group (DAG) is a collaboration between scientists at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Gene Regulation and Expression and Bioinformaticians at the College of Life Sciences working on short or medium term bioinformatics projects.
The Group can analyse large datasets including microarray, next-generation sequencing, proteomics and imaging to extract biological knowledge while also developing innovative bioinformatics software and databases.
The Wellcome Trust Centre for Gene Regulation and Expression has contributed to the growth of the Data Analysis Group in the four years since its inception, including the funding of two new positions in the group (Pieta Schofield and Marek Gierlinski).
