MRC Protein Phosphorylation and Ubiquitylation Spotlight Seminar
Yasushi studied chemisty at Osaka University in Japan and learned NMR under the supervision of Takahisa Ikegami. Yasushi did his PhD research in Kiyoshi Nagai's group at MRC LMB, investigating X-ray crystal structure of human spliceosomal U1 snRNP. He joined John Kuriyan lab at University of California Berkeley as a postdoc, and studied the MAPK pathway components, SOS and B-Raf.
