Postdoctoral Research Assistants in Molecular Cell Biology

Three post-doctoral scientist positions are available for ambitious scientists who wish to join the Cancer Research UK Chromosome Replication Research Group headed by Professor Julian Blow and located in the Wellcome Trust Centre for Gene Regulation & Expression, University of Dundee. The positions are supported by a recent Wellcome Trust Senior Investigator Award to Julian Blow.


Applications are invited from individuals interested in joining a small team caring for animals. A responsible and caring attitude to animal welfare will therefore be essential. There will also be some washing and cleaning duties. You must have an ability to work as part of a team and to carry out all aspects of the job to exacting standards. The post is full-time, Mondays to Fridays, with some week-end work to be undertaken on a rota system and for which overtime will be paid.

Principal Investigators

The Division of Cell Signalling and Immunology is currently seeking new group leaders to extend and strengthen our current range of activities. The interests of the current members of the Division are diverse and focus on the control of the innate and adaptive immune system as well as on the signalling cascades that control cellular energy balance, cell growth, nutrient sensing and mRNA stability and translation.
